As much as we love to travel abroad, we also love to visit the highways and byways of our own country. Over the past couple of years, the quality and choice of places to stay in Ireland has vastly improved. Prices are still very much on the high side but with some advance planning it’s possible to grab a really nice place to stay and at a fair price.
Most of the places we tend to visit are usually in the countryside, some near a village or town with perhaps a nearby attraction, while other places are more remote. On occasion we may tend to stay in the centre of a city, such as the Westbury in Dublin, especially if we’re going to a concert or event.
