Like 2020 and 2021, we had lots of travel plans, but here we are, at the start of a new year, with the two year anniversary of the first lockdown less than three months away. We had plans for travel over the Christmas (2021) but with the restrictions changing on a daily basis, different restrictions for one country over another, testing and what not, we took the tough but sensible decision to cancel our trip. We did, however, manage two more getaways before the end of 2021. We were back in Dublin to check out a new restaurant venture by top chef Mickael Viljanen and you can read all about it here. As for travel plans and jaunts for 2022, well we have plenty of plans in place, but, for now, we just have to wait and see, so here’s hoping we finally turn that corner – and not turn back!
